Savings Account Sweepstakes Official Rules

NO PURCHASE OR BANK TRANSACTION IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED. THIS PROMOTION IS SUBJECT TO ALL APPLICABLE FEDERAL, STATE, AND LOCAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS. THIS PROMOTION IS NOT SPONSORED, ENDORSED OR ADMINISTERED BY, OR ASSOCIATED WITH INSTAGRAM OR FACEBOOK. The Savings Account Sweepstakes (this “Promotion”) has one promotion period from March 1, 2025 - April 30, 2025 (this "Promotion Period").

All images of the Meta Quest 3s used in connection with the Savings Account Sweepstakes are the property of Meta Platforms, Inc. Meta has not endorsed or sponsored this sweepstakes, and all trademarks, logos, and images remain the exclusive rights of their respective owners.

ELIGIBILITY. This Promotion is open only to legal residents of Texas (the “Eligibility Area”) who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. Only individuals may enter; no entries from any corporation or other entity shall be accepted. This Promotion is VOID outside of the Eligibility Area. Employees and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, children, and siblings) of Southside Bank (the "Sponsor"), their advertising agencies, and/or persons in their households are eligible to enter or win.

HOW TO ENTER. You will be entered in the Promotion by applying for a Personal Savings account online or in-person at a Southside Bank branch during the Promotion Period. LIMIT ONE (1) ENTRY PER INDIVIDUAL PER PROMOTION PERIOD.

Alternatively, entries containing the following information may be submitted by mail: 1) A reference to the Savings Account Sweepstakes so we can identify it as a submission, 2) Your name, 3) A contact method (phone or email) so that we may contact you to notify you if you are a winner. Entries via mail should be addressed to: MARKETING DEPARTMENT, 1201 S BECKHAM AVE TYLER, TX 75701-3320.

Entries received by Sponsor AFTER the end of the Promotion Period will be discarded and deemed void. No changes to any entry information will be permitted once submitted. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. No purchase or bank transaction is necessary to enter or win.

By participating, entrants: (1) agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which shall be binding and final in all respects; (2) acknowledge that said Sponsor has neither made nor is in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relating to any prize; and (3) warrant that he/she is eligible to participate in this Promotion.

PRIZES; ODDS OF WINNING. A total of three (3) prizes will be awarded per promotion period. Prize 1: a Pickleball Kit (valued at approximately $85.00), Prize 2: a Meta Quest 3s (valued at approximately $299.99), and Prize 3: two tickets to a Nate Bargatze show in Dallas on October 18, 2025 at 3:00 PM (valued at approximately $218.01).

Winners will be solely responsible for all applicable taxes, and/or any other expenses associated with acceptance and use of the prize. Winners will be issued a 1099 miscellaneous income tax form for the approximate retail value (ARV) of the prize. Southside Bank makes no representations or warranties. Southside Bank shall not be responsible or liable for winner’s inability or failure to utilize prize. Prize may not be combined with any other offer. No substitution, assignment, or transfer of prize will be permitted, except that Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute prize with a prize of equal or greater value.

Odds of winning are determined by and depend upon the total number of eligible entries received.

WINNER SELECTION. One (1) drawing will be conducted for each of the three (3) prizes at the end of the Promotion Period at the Sponsor’s headquarters. There will be a total of three (3) winners. One for each prize.

Three (3) winners will be chosen by random drawing by Sponsor from among the total number of eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. WINNERS DO NOT HAVE TO BE PRESENT TO WIN. Prize award is subject to verification and will be awarded upon winner validation and verification by Sponsor.

NOTIFICATION. Winners will be announced and notified no later than three (3) business days after the drawing dates and will be notified via email. If Southside Bank is unable to contact the potential winner within seven (7) days, an alternate winner shall be selected.

RELEASE. By participating in this Promotion, entrants release and hold Sponsor, subsidiaries and affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents harmless from any and all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever arising out of this Promotion. Except where prohibited, entrants agree that any and all disputes which cannot be resolved between or among the parties and any claims or causes of action arising out of or connected with this Promotion shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action.

All participants who participate in this Promotion release Instagram and Facebook of all responsibility.

GENERAL INFORMATION. The failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. If any part of these Official Rules is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, that part will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remainder of these Official Rules will remain fully in force.

PRIVACY NOTICE. Any personal information provided by entrants will be used by Sponsor solely to administer this Promotion and in accordance with Southside Bank’s Privacy Policy.

OTHER CONDITIONS. This promotion is governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Texas. By entering this promotion, entrants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and the decisions of Southside Bank, which are final in all matters relating to the promotion. Entrants agree to release and hold harmless Southside Bank affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising or marketing agencies including their respective directors, officers, and employees of each of these entities, from any and all liability for any loss, injury, or damage of any kind arising from this promotion and/or arising from the award, use and/or misuse of any prize.
