For us, being a community bank is more about relationships than location. It’s about genuinely being there to support the individuals and organizations that create a positive impact and make our communities a great place to live. We’re committed to giving back through monetary donations, building relationships, and volunteer efforts.
Southside provides financial support to worthy initiatives and causes that seek to improve the lives of community members where Southside has a presence. Southside's focus areas of giving include financial education, household assistance, economic development, health and wellness, civic and cultural initiatives, and a focus on future generations.
We invest in programs that provide education and financial empowerment for all ages. When we are learning together, we are growing together.
We partner with outreach programs to empower low-to-moderate income individuals and households. Getting people home makes our communities stronger.
We strive to build up strong communities by supporting job creation and advocating for economic growth. Working together helps our communities prosper.
We support organizations and events focused on promoting physical and mental well-being. Everyone benefits when you feel your best.
We celebrate the cultures, arts, and histories that make our communities special. Each person has a unique history to share, and we celebrate everything that makes you special.
We give to and volunteer at local childcare centers, schools, and colleges to create a bright future for all. We are eager to prepare the leaders of tomorrow.
All requests for financial support should be submitted through the "Request Contribution" button below for consideration. You will be notified via email when your request has been reviewed.
Southside Serves is an internal program that empowers our team members to serve their local communities through volunteerism. Each full-time team member is provided paid time off to volunteer within their community throughout the year. Additionally, Southside coordinates group volunteer efforts with local non-profit or civic groups throughout the year, where a group of team members are mobilized to an organization (or event) to collectively serve together. While volunteer efforts are primarily focused on the intiatives highlighted above, other non-profits and civic groups may still be eligible for volunteers and are considered on a case-by-case basis.
