Our Communities
We were founded in Texas in 1960 and still proudly serve here today. Southside Bancshares, Inc., the holding company for Southside Bank, is headquartered in Tyler, Texas, and has approximately $8.36 billion in assets. We operate 53 branches in East, North, Central, and Southeast Texas and two loan production offices in Dallas and The Woodlands. We also have a network of 72 local ATMs/ITMs and are affiliated with more than 60,000 ATMs across the nation. Southside Bancshares, Inc., is publicly traded on the NYSE under the symbol SBSI.

Trinity Habitat Build
In 2023, nineteen Southside Bank team members participated in the Build-a-Home project with Trinity Habitat for Humanity in Fort Worth. The team was tasked with installing siding, caulking the exterior, and painting the trim of a house that a single mom and her kids would soon occupy.
Blue Santa
Southside Bank’s annual “Chili Cook-Off” sought to make Christmas a little brighter for children and their families by raising funds to support the Tyler Patrolman Association’s “Blue Santa” event. In 2023, our team members in Tyler raised over $8,600.
Raymond James Cares
Southside Serves in East Texas had the opportunity to help provide 80 children with backpacks filled with school supplies. Working alongside Jesus Closet, Southside team members were able to make a tangible difference in the lives of neighbors and families right here in our community.
Reverse JA in a Day
In October 2023, twenty-two juniors and seniors in the Career & Technology program at Tyler Independent School District experienced a tour of the bank, career-focused presentations, and a panel discussion with Southside executives.
