Make a mobile deposit in just a few steps.
1. Log in to the Southside Bank app.
2. In the main menu, select "Transactions"
3. Select "Mobile Deposit"
4. Select the account where you want to deposit your check.
5. Enter the dollar amount of the check.
6. Take a picture of the front and back of the endorsed check (Endorsement must be written – “For Mobile Deposit Only Southside Bank”).
7. Submit the deposit for review.
Mobile deposit is the ability to deposit a check using the Southside Bank mobile app and the camera on your smart phone.
To make a mobile deposit, please follow these steps:
1. Log in to the Southside Bank mobile app and select “Mobile Deposit.”

If you are using mobile deposit on a smart phone or mobile device, your device must have the following capabilities:

- Camera Specs: Rear-facing, auto focus, 5+ megapixel resolution (Note: devices without a rear-facing camera will not support mobile deposit functionality)

Mobile deposits made before 6 p.m. will be processed the same business day. Mobile deposits made after 6 p.m., on weekends, or on holidays will be processed the next business day.
After you receive confirmation that your check has been accepted for processing, store the paper check in a safe place. After 20 days have passed and you receive confirmation that your funds have been deposited into your account, write “VOID” on the face of the check and destroy the check.
If your mobile deposit was accepted prior to 6 p.m., your mobile deposit will generally be available to you the next business day. Mobile deposits made after 6 p.m., on weekends, or on holidays will generally be processed the next business day. All mobile deposits are subject to review, and funds from your mobile deposit may not be available for immediate withdrawal.
All images for mobile deposits are reviewed for clarity and completeness. If an error is detected, the mobile app will prompt you to retake the photo. Follow these tips to help ensure a good photo is taken:
- Find a well-lit area.
- Place the check on a plain, dark surface.
- Remove objects or other items from view.
- Make sure all four corners of the check are visible.
- Use the guides built into the app to help you line up the picture.
- Position the camera directly above the check (not at an angle).
You can submit one check per mobile deposit. However, you may submit as many mobile deposits as you would like, up to the mobile deposit limit(s).
Yes, accounts currently have a daily per check and deposit limit of $5,000 and a rolling 30-day deposit limit of $10,000 for mobile deposit.
