Southside Early Pay was designed with our customers in mind. With our early pay feature, you get access to your paycheck up to two days earlier than your normal payday schedule. This feature is automatically available for customers who have direct deposit set up on select consumer accounts.
Early Pay is a no-fee service offered to eligible deposit accounts1, giving access to qualified Automated Clearing House (ACH) funds up to two days early.
You must have an eligible account1 with Southside Bank and have an ACH credit from an employer, government agency, retirement, etc.
Early Pay is offered on consumer checking and savings accounts with the exception of Money Market and Relationship Checking accounts.
Your ACH credit may be available in your account up to two days prior to our receipt of the funds. The availability depends on when Southside receives the payor's payment instructions. Early availability of deposits in not guaranteed and may vary from deposit to deposit.
You are automatically enrolled in Early Pay when you have a qualifying account.
Deposits going in to a qualified Southside consumer and savings accounts are eligible to post early. Other account types will receive credit on the scheduled posting day.
No, only qualified ACH credits are eligible to post early.
No, actions the payor makes can affect when the Bank is able to see a pending deposit and post the transaction. It is best to confirm receipt through online banking before accessing the funds.
There is no fee for Early Pay.
1Early Pay is a service offered on consumer checking and savings accounts providing early access to preauthorized deposits made electronically through the Automated Clearing House (ACH). Early Pay is not available on Money Market and Relationship Checking accounts. An Early Pay deposit may be available in your account up to two days prior to our receipt of the funds. Your consumer accounts are automatically enrolled, and no action is needed on your part. When preauthorized deposits are made available to you early, they will memo post and be reflected in your Available Balance. After nightly processing the deposit(s) will be reflected in your Current Balance.
Early availability depends on when we receive the payor’s payment instructions, deposit type, fraud prevention screening, and any criteria necessary to maintain the security of your account or our payment systems. Any preauthorized deposit not made available early will be made available according to our Funds Availability Policy. Early availability of deposits is not guaranteed and may vary from deposit to deposit. If we make deposits available early to you and we are unable to collect the funds from the payor, you will be liable to repay us the funds. You agree that we may debit your account for the funds, even if you have already withdrawn them and the debit would overdraw your account. Early Pay service is provided as a courtesy, and we reserve the right to terminate the service or change the criteria used to make deposits available early at any time without notice to you.
