Card Controls will begin displaying transaction history after the card is registered in Card Controls. Transactions that occurred prior to the initial registration will not show in the history.
In Card Controls on the Southside Bank mobile app, "Card on File" helps you keep tabs on merchants where you have stored your debit card in their files for one-time or reoccurring transactions. For transaction history, you can toggle between menus.
Have any questions about a merchant that has your card on file? Your most recent transactions will be displayed, so you can simply expand the merchant details and visit the website associated with the transaction.
Spending Insights help you monitor your debit card spending by informing you what was bought during a transaction, when the transaction occurred, or where the transaction occurred. These insights are unique to each debit card and can help you monitor habits by category or date. It also provides location services that take you directly to the transaction and where it occurred on a map.
Within Card Controls in our mobile app, you have the ability to conveniently view a digital image of your debit card that displays the full 16-digit card number, expiration date, and security code from your debit card, which allows you to easily make online purchases or pay over the phone or in a store with a merchant.
To view the Digital Card, scroll down and select "View Digital Card" under "Card Details." To verify your identity, you may be prompted to enter a one-time passcode that will be sent via SMS/text to the number you have on file in the mobile app.
Follow these steps to add a new debit card in the Southside Bank mobile app (or watch this video):
No, you cannot delete a debit card from Southside Card Controls once it has been added. However, you can manage the cards shown by going through the main menu (located in the top left corner of the screen) and select "Hide/Show Cards." Cards selected will be displayed on the home screen and can be managed. Unselected cards will be hidden. You will not be able to manage a card that is hidden, and its activity will not appear in your transaction or spending data.
You can now add up to two travel plans through Card Controls in the mobile app!

Spending limits on your debit card can be set per transaction. Any transaction that exceeds the transaction spending limit will be denied. This does not affect your card's daily spending limit. For assistance increasing your debit card daily spending limit, please reach out to our Customer Care team at 877.639.3511.

Card Controls is a service that gives you the ability to manage your Southside Bank debit card(s) from the convenience of our Southside Bank mobile app. With the touch of a button, you can easily turn your card(s) on and off, control spending limits, receive transaction alerts, access your debit card digitally, manage travel notifications and more. Search for "Southside Bank" in the App Store® or Google Play™ to download.

Yes. As long as you have registered your debit card within the Southside Bank app, you will be able to manage debit cards regardless of their associated accounts.
MobiMoney and Card Controls are similar in their ability to manage your Southside Bank debit card(s). All the popular features of MobiMoney are now available directly to you through the Southside Card Controls mobile app.
The Southside Card Controls mobile app is supported on any Android™ device using 6.0 OS or newer software OR any Apple® device using iOS 12.0 or newer.
Virtually any device that supports our Southside Bank Mobile App will allow you access to Southside Card Controls. However, if you are using the app on a tablet, card controls is not supported, only the mobile browser of the the tablet device.
Download the Southside Bank mobile app from the App Store® or Google Play™. Once you have downloaded the app, login to your online banking account and access the Card Controls tab in the main menu. Click "Add Card" and enter your Southside Bank debit card details.
No, there is no fee to use Card Controls if you are a Southside Bank debit card holder. However, your wireless provider may charge for access or data usage depending on your wireless plan.
