FDIC-Insured - Backed by the full faith and credit of the U.S. Government
Team members from Southside Bank, members from the Cedar Creek Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, and community members gathered on Tuesday, February 27 for a ribbon cutting and celebration of Southside’s newly renovated branch, located at 901 West Main in Gun Barrel City.
“The Gun Barrel City community is unlike some of the other areas the Bank serves,” said Cheyenne Hall, Branch Manager at the Gun Barrel City branch. “It’s a close-knit community of like-minded people who simply want what’s best for their neighbors. We are proud to be a part of this community and to showcase our updated branch with our customers and community members.”
Sherri Anthony, Chief Banking Officer, described how the newly remodeled branch brings strength to the growing bank and community. “Southside Bank is committed to providing the best service possible to our communities. ‘Excellence’ is one of our Core Values and is engrained in all that we do. We strive each day to offer excellence to our customers; this remodel is just one small way that proves our commitment to that calling. We’re proud to celebrate its completion with the Chamber, our team members, our customers, and the Gun Barrel City community.”
The full-service branch offers a large, modern lobby with additional office space, coffee bar, and a new pneumatic tube system within the Bank’s drive-thru.
Construction on the project began in July 2023 and was fully completed in February 2024.
The Bank lobby is open Monday thru Thursday, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. The drive-thru is open Monday thru Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., and on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
